Hamsa Minerals (HM) was formed (by the ex-employees of Coastal) in 2022 and is de facto the successor of Coastal Enterprises (Pvt) Ltd of the M. H. Adamjee Group.

It was formed not only to reward the employees of Coastal with shareholding (for decades of hard work, commitment and loyalty), but also to expand and diversify into other ores/minerals.

Whilst its core business remains the mining, processing and export of Chrome ore and Talc ore, HM has made forays into many other minerals. It has recently started supplying some minerals, some are under tests and trials and some are targeted for an appropriate time/opportunity in the future.
